The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, April 12 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will host a shindig to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
Also coming up, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) will lurk outside the GCAC. Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will feel guilty about leaving Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). And Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will be jealous.
Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) she’s never looked more gorgeous. When Traci walks into the living room he’ll say he feels bad leaving her alone in the house with Ashley. But she’ll say Ashley took a sleeping pill. “Whatever happens, I will deal with it.” Then Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will walk in to keep Traci company.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Harrison Makes A Beeline To Hug Claire
At the ranch, Nikki will take her flask out of her silver clutch, but before she gets a chance to sip some vodka, she’ll hear Victor calling her name. “You look more gorgeous every time I see you,” he’ll say. Then Victor will give her a beautiful ruby ring, for their ruby anniversary and Nikki will say he spoils her.
Meanwhile, at the Jazz Club, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will remind a hotel staff member it’s a dry party and they’ll only be serving sparkling water and cider. And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will tell the head of security that only those on the guest list will be permitted.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will arrive, followed by Jack and Diane and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
In the hotel lobby, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will walk in with Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) and Summer will be thrilled to see her son. But Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will arrive and Harrison will shout her name, run to her and give her a hug, much to Summer’s chagrin. He’ll show her a small, gold bunny and say it’s his lucky bunny.
Meanwhile, Jordan will lurk outside, in full disguise, watching her niece. She’ll see Harrison take Claire’s hand as they all head downstairs. “How precious,” Jordan will say to herself.
Back in the Jazz Club, Harrison will sit with Claire. And as Summer glares over at them, Victoria will notice. Claire will tell Harrison he should go sit with his mother. Victoria will be perturbed and she’ll tell Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) she should talk to Summer, but he’ll dissuade her from doing so.
The guests of honor will arrive and Nick and Victoria will toast them. “I’m so proud to be your daughter and to witness this once in a lifetime love that you have,” Victoria will say. Adam will also say a few words. He’ll toast his father “and the only woman in the world who is his match, in every way.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Summer Snubs Claire Yet Again
Then Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Devon Winters (Bryton James), Summer, Lauren and Michael will also honor the happy couple. And Jack will toast Victor, saying he has shown loving, loyal respect to an amazing one-of-a-kind woman. “And Nikki, your incredible strength, is a lesson to all of us,” he’ll add.
“Many moons ago, you looked into my eyes and said Victor Newman you will never love another woman like you love me, how right she was,” Victor will tell Nikki. “All my success in life means nothing without you my darling, without this wonderful family.”
Nikki will say that although there were few detours along the way, they always end up stronger. “I know that your belief in us, that everything is possible,” she’ll continue. “You are the love of my life Victor Newman. Tonight, celebrating with our family and friends, means everything. And no one can take it away from us.”
Throughout the party, Nikki will touch her silver clutch, aching to take a drink of vodka. But she’ll resist the urge to make an excuse to “powder her nose.”
Near the end of the night, Harrison will tell Kyle he’s feeling sleepy, so Kyle will tell Summer they’re heading home. She’ll hug Harrison and Claire will walk over. “Harrison’s amazing,” she’ll say, adding she and Kyle have done a great job with him. But Summer will make a face and walk away. And Jordan will watch Kyle and Harrison as they walk out the front door of the GCAC.
Finally, Nikki and Victor will dance, amid flashbacks of their first wedding. And Claire will notice Harrison dropped his lucky bunny on the floor. She’ll glance over at Summer, who’s standing happily with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and then she’ll head upstairs.
